Let's Go See The Sakura!

Spring is here!!!

Well, maybe it's not spring anymore because the weather here in Tainan is super hot like summer.
The sun is coming, flowers are blooming, and the wind is flowing around. Because I pretty much done with the cold weather in the winter, so my friends and I decided that we want to welcome the spring by seeing the sakura. I know, it's not Japan, but Taiwan also has sakura haha luckily I don't have to go to Japan to see it.

Well, basically it was located in Chiayi, above Tainan where I live. As usual, we took the train to Chiayi for an hour and then we took the bus to the Ali Mountain that have the sakura in it lol. People here call it Alishan. Ali is the name of the mountain and "shan" in chinese means mountain. You get my point right?

white sakura
pink sakura

The trip to the mountain was pretty much so tiring because the road was like a roller coaster ride and made me wanna puke. But, luckily I could get trough that. Thank God. The weather there was so cold. It was 8℃. Yes. Cold right? I could even make a smoke out of my mouth when I was breathing or talking haha lol. And also when I was taking pictures, my leg was shaking because of the cold weather ehe. You can imagine how cold it was. But it was sunny. When I was there, the sakura was so popular. So many people stood below the trees and took pictures for hours. Yea, because it was pretty. I get that. Same thing happen to me. I took pictures, hundreds of 'em. Well I came from Indonesia so it was definitely my first time to see the sakura. I tell you guys it was so beautiful. They have the pink and the white sakura. So pretty. The mountain is so huge. Like I couldn't even feel my feet anymore. Well I was wearing an ankle boots hehe. It's for the sake of the picture lol. But I changed to flip flops anyways.

Land Of Buddha And Butterflies

Hello guys.

Today I want to share with you my journey to Maolin Butterfly Valley and Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum. I know, the name is so long. I went there I think on Nov 2016 with my friends. It was an international student event to see the butterflies. Oh, and by the way, it was located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I live in Tainan, so if you see on the map, I live in the south area of Taiwan and Kaohsiung is below my city, Tainan.

We went there by bus and it was like an hour drive until we arrived there.
While we were there, there were actually like an opening ceremony event to welcome the butterflies. Sounds so interesting right? There were dancers that wore a really beautiful costumes represent the butterflies and it was sooo pretty.
Actually, while we were there, we can't really see the butterflies. Well we saw it but we couldn't be able to take a picture of it, because they were so energetic so they flew around. So yeah I'm so sorry guys that I couldn't show you.

As you can see, Maolin has a really good spot for taking pictures. Filled with natures and trees and it was actually like hiking, well not really that high but you know what I mean. It was like in a hill, so we have to kind of go uphill a little bit.

Also as I remembered it was a little bit hot there, because it wasn't really winter yet at that time. But it was sunny.
Ok. after that, we also went to Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum. It was the same, going uphill and actually a lot tiring because that place is so big. Like I couldn't even travel all the places there. I think I was just travelling 1/3 of it. Well my friend helped to take pictures there so you guys can see the beauty of it.

This Buddha statue is located so far away at the back of the museum. There, we can donate some money and write our names and it will show on the monitor. It was really cool. Then the Buddha will tell you what's the meaning of your action.

As you can see there, Buddha will tell you through the light that you can see on your hands. It was so cool.

I think it was the biggest Buddha Museum that I have ever visited.

And that's all for my journey today. I am so sorry to you that it wasn't the best and I don't have a lot of pictures showing you guys the places. Well I am trying to be better and better every day, so you guys have to definitely stay tune for more of my journeys.

Toodles,
Camilla.

All New Pink And Pixie

Hello guys.

It's been a long long time since I post something on this blog. HEHE. Forgive me.

Ok, I don't know how to explain this to you guys, but I am an 18 years old teenager who always change her mind and always have a mood swings for like every second.

On 2013 when I created this blog, I was so determined that I want to keep posting like every week for this blog. At that time, I really love makeup and skincare and all that stuff, because I watch a lot of beauty videos. Now, I think I am more mature and old enough to once again make a commitment to myself that I will start writing again.

Actually writing is not my talent at all, but I like to share things with you guys. And also, I am now in college in Taiwan, so that means I am away from my family. If you guys don't know, I am from Indonesia and now I am living in Taiwan for school. I think it's pretty cool to study abroad.

With that being said, I decided to share all my journeys here in Taiwan as I always go travelling here and explore with you guys. I love taking pictures, I love flowers and basically all that pretty things in life.

I hope you will come along with me and support me through my journeys.

With Love,
Camilla.
